Sneak preview

I'm expecting my first child in August and have decided to crochet a baby blanket for her using the granny square technique. Above are some of the squares I've already completed, waiting for their ends to be sewed in.

The only question is, as the world's slowest knitter / crocheter / general needleworker, will I finish on time or will I still be granny-squaring away between contractions at the hospital?
